Trauma & EMDR
For what your body remembers, even when you'd rather not
Some experiences don't file themselves away like normal memories. They stay live — in the startle, the shutdown, the overreaction that doesn't match the moment. Trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR, helps your nervous system finish processing what it never got to finish.
Book a free consultationThis work is for you if…
- Emotional, physical, sexual, or spiritual abuse — recent or long past
- Childhood experiences that still shape adult reactions
- PTSD — including for veterans and service members
- Nightmares, intrusive memories, or avoidance that shrinks your life
- 'I've talked about it plenty — talking hasn't touched it'
How the work unfolds
I hold an EMDRIA certificate in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), one of the most-studied trauma treatments available, and every part of this practice is trauma-informed. We never start with the hard material: the first phase builds stabilization and resourcing — often drawing on DBT skills — so that when we do process, your system can handle it. The pace is always yours.

Individual Therapy
For capable adults carrying anxiety, old grief, identity questions, or patterns that keep winning. This is insight-oriented therapy with structure — we go underneath the symptom, and we track progress the whole way.
Relationship Therapy
Most couples wait years too long to come in. If you're here, part of you knows the pattern between you is bigger than either of you — and that willpower alone hasn't fixed it. This is structured, active couples work: honest, balanced, and demanding of both partners.
Let's see if we're a good fit.
