Trauma recovery for busy professionals ready to heal.
I'm Dr. Noah Cicalo, a licensed mental health counselor who helps people understand how their past experiences continue to shape the way they think, feel, and relate to others. The work here is compassionate and purposeful, built around your goals: healing, insight, and growth that lasts.

This practice is built for a particular kind of client.
You're capable everywhere but here
Outwardly things work — career, family, competence. But you find yourself reacting more strongly than you want to, carrying a heaviness you can't quite explain, or repeating patterns you know aren't good for you.
You want healing, not a quick patch
You've probably spent a lot of time trying to understand yourself. Maybe you've read books, listened to podcasts, talked with friends, or tried to work through things on your own. But understanding something intellectually isn't always enough to change it. You're looking for more than insight — you want to actually change the patterns that keep getting in your way.
You're ready to invest in growth
Cicalo Counseling Services is a private-pay practice, which allows our work to remain focused on your goals rather than the requirements of an insurance company. We can take the time your situation actually requires and approach your care with greater flexibility and privacy.

Reach out
Fill out the short contact form — it takes two minutes. I'll reach out personally, by call or text, and every new client is seen for a consult within three business days.
02
Assessment
The first sessions map your history, patterns, and goals — so the healing has a direction, not just a topic.
03
The work
Weekly sessions, structured yet flexible, paced at your comfort level, and always grounded in compassion.
04
Healing & independence
We measure progress against your goals openly and often. The goal isn't to keep you in therapy forever — it's to help you develop the insight, skills, and freedom to live well without needing therapy indefinitely.
Faith & counseling
Faith-integrated counseling — when you want it, never assumed
I believe faith can be an important part of healing for people who specifically want it to be. If your faith is part of how you heal, it can be part of how we work — woven into the same rigorous, clinical care. And if it isn't, it simply never comes up. You set that direction, always.

About
A therapist who takes your healing as seriously as you do
I believe therapy works when two people take it seriously. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with an EMDRIA certificate in EMDR, training in DBT, and a Motivational Interviewing endorsement, and my work is trauma-informed at its core — I work with people navigating complex life transitions, recovery, and deep wounds, including emotional, physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse. Counseling here is tailored to fit your personal beliefs and goals.

Why You Can Understand Your Trauma and Still Feel Stuck
Insight is real progress — and it's often not enough. Why knowing your story doesn't always change how your body responds to it, and what actually does.
